Σύνοψη

The purpose of the work, which has been done, was to develop a computer program which can be used as Accounts Receivable subsystem, or can be used as a subsystem in a whole computerized Accounting System. The main Job which the program does is to keep The Debtor's Accounts of a business and also to give some useful information about the cash sales, Credit sales and Total Receipts from debtors of a business.
During the development of the Accounts Receivable subsystem the author had as tools the good knowledge about the main Accounting principles and also good knowledge in computer programming principles, the use of the programming language d-base III + and computer information system. The Accounts Receivable system of a Jewellery shop was used as a model for the preparation of this work.
The main conclusions of this work is that the use of a computerized Accounting system or Accounts Receivable subsystem help the business to operate more efficiently.
A computerized Accounting System obtains the avoidance of human errors, accuracy and speed against of the human error and a lot of timework which are met with a manual Accounting System.
