Σύνοψη

This project deals with the design, construction and testing of a dimmer for a fluorescent lamp. The dimmer is operated from mains voltage and ensures smooth and flicker free control of the lamp.
Fluorescent lamp dimmers have many applications, especially in offices, shops and houses where maximum light output of the lamp is not always necessary. One of the main advantages of the dimmer is that a reduction of the illumination level reduces electricity consumption at a considerable level.
