Construction Management is a wide range of activities assisting the modern construct jon industry to become more effective and reach its objectives it is
a powerful tool for increasing productivity, minimizing the available resources and advancing the goals of any contracting company. The purpose of this project is to present the fundamental parts of construction management and how management is applicable in Cyprus. The project is divided into three parts. The first part is dealing with the funcamental parts of construction management analyzing each one and how they affect the management. The second part is dealing with construction management in Cyprus. The constractors are classified in three categories,
small. medium and large. Each category is examined and contractors were asked how they apply mnagement. Also the opinions of contractors in what ways construction management can be improved. The third part is the conclusions and the comparing of the management's theory and application.
