Σύνοψη

This project work is composed of four parts. In the first part the regulations and Cypriot laws are analysed by the aid of photographs and drawings. Also some examples where buildings or in general architectural spaces were built without following the regulations and laws are shown.
In the second part, a reference to zones is made and an example is given of the different regulations of a specific area.
In the third part some regulations of other countries are stated and a comparison is made between them and the Cypriot ones.
Finally in the"fourth part a comparison is made between old and new architecture and also regulations for the preservation and protection of the traditional character of old Nicosia are shown, with the aid of photographs.
