Detailing study of floors, walls, roofs, doors and
windows. This project deals with the detailing of the main components of a house and the performance and cost of the varied designs of these elements. First a study of the basic principles concerning the house such as thermal comfort in building, thermal insulation materials, thermal construction and techniques is
made. In the next stage each part and component of a building was detailed. Moreover, a considerable study and analysis of each part and component of a building was made and their significance in terms of thermal performance. After finding heating and cooling requirements of a building, economic comparisons of designs were made.
