Σύνοψη

The main subject of this project is a survey on recycling of paper with special reference to Cyprus situation it consist of six (6) chapters.
The first chapter deals with the environment and the impact of humans, since their creation, on it. The second chapter is an introduction on recycling and on paper,
so as the reader will have a general understanding of on the subject of paper recycling Chapter three deals with solid waste and especially with wastepaper.
Special reference is made on what to avoid in wastepaper that is destined for recycling, and also possible sources of wastepaper. The fourth chapter is dealing
with paper recycling stating the method of recycling and also methods of reusing paper. The disadvantages of recycled paper are also mentioned. Chapter five
deals with paper recycling in Cyprus. The main problems are mentioned and probable solutions are suggested. Special reference is made on a paper recycling
plant working in Cyprus, on the basis that the wastepaper originates Cyprus. In chapter six, the final conclusions are made, and the problems faced during writing the project are mentioned. The appendices and the references are included at the end.
