1. Taking off measurements of the work.
2.Workig up
a. Squaring of dimensions ie calculating lengths areas and
volumes of work set against each description and entering
thern in squaring columns on the tal:.ing off paper.
b. Abstracting ie gathering together similar ites to produce
the total Quantities for inclusion in the BOQ.
c. Billing - presentation of setting down of the items in the normal bill sequence. All these processes require standard types of paper.
