Σύνοψη

The development of the Data Base Management System dealing with some procedures of the Cyprus Rally, attempts to solve problems that appear during Cyprus Rally periods.
Its main concern will be the control and manipulation of data regarding Personnel, Control Points, Supplies given to Personnel, and Services situated close to Control Points. (Re. Figure 1.1 on the ne}.1 page)
The Project's main features v.rill be :
(1) Data EntI)' (Maintenance) : Through this feature/Option, creation, modification, deletion and display of Personnel, Controls, Supplies and Services records, is provided using pull down menu-driven system. (2) On-line Enquiries : On-Line Enquiries over the system data files allows the user to enquire on specific system data file records or fields of records, under certain conditions, and promptly obtain a piece of information on screen. (3) Reports : This Feature/Option allows the user to produce, in a hard copy,
information concerning the system data files.
(4) Utilities : Proposed developed system provides some utilities to the user. Among them are : (a) Files Reorganization (b) Format Diskettes
(c) Backup system Data Files (d) Restore Data Files
( e) Virus Detection
