Σύνοψη

This project was carried out in co-ordination with the PWD and its object is to show the steps of designing a highway section, of an approximate length of 2Km.
This section was chosen to be part of the road connecting Dekellia and Protaras, section including stations 9500-11800, which is at this stage under construction.
The existing levels of ground were obtained by PWO' s staff.
All the design procedure was carried out using a computer programme, called RDES (Road Design), which is a specialized programme used for road designing purposes.
Volume No.l consists of the related theory and a11 the measurements, including bill of quantities.
Volume No.2 consists of all relevant drawings of the section under investigation.
