Σύνοψη

Bill of quantities is the way that the majority of various works are described measured and priced. The way this is done is agreed by the owner and the contractor. It can be either with the use of standard regulations e.g. SMM 7 or with regulations developed by the office which is responsible for the preparation of the bill.
There are three methods of preparing the bill of quantities
• The 'traditional method'
• The 'cut and shuffle method'
• The 'computer method'
I have chosen to make my project using the 'computer method'
- Prepare the 'taking off using smm7
- Prepare the 'abstracting'
- Prepare the 'bill of quantities' with approximate unit rates from the Cyprus market.
This is a two storey house build in Kissonerga, Paphos. The total covered area of the house is 220m2
