Σύνοψη

The purpose of this project is to measure the different quantities that are required to construct a building, and prepare a Bill of Quantities. The Bill of Quantities is a tendering document, which among with other documents provide a clear picture to the concerned people of what is about to be built.
After the Bill of Quantities is prepared, the contractor will only have to fill in the price gaps, and the present document will be ready for tendering.
There are two ways to prepare the Bill of Quantities, either by a computer, or with the traditional way, the "by hand" method. Both methods should be carried in portions for this project, and onwards compared.
The building measured is a single storey house of 200m2 at Latsia in Nicosia district.
