Σύνοψη

The idea of this project is to provide the possibility to everybody around the world to access information about the courses offered by the Higher Technical Institute and more specifically by the Electrical Department, through a web site on the internet. The web site is written in HTML, which stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
HTML is the most popular way for building a web site, and it was chosen to be used for my project, because it offers 100% compatibility with all the available internet browsers, under any known Operating System.
For the construction of this project, Microsoft's Front Page XP software was used as an HTML editor. The reason I selected Front Page XP, is because it's able to manage easily huge web sites with multiple sub pages. Also it can modify different components (such as menus, colors, buttons etc) from all the pages of the web site at the same time, without having to do the changes on each page separately.
