Σύνοψη

Autocad is a computer-aided drafting package.
It is used by Architects, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Land Surveyors, etc for drafting of different kinds of jobs, such as houses, tanks, piping /
mechanical works, etc.
The Autocad system, is a very powerful package, has many drafting tools. The user of the system can, everytime, begin a new drawing having option of setting various parameters to suit the requirements of the drafting system. Such parameters include
the drawing units, the scale and the size of the sheet
The Autocad system is a very friendly system and the user can apply any of the various commands of it, either entered via the keyboard or by pointing at the appropriate menus with the mouse.
Autocad system has advantages against other drafting systems. Such advantages are summarised to:
• Less requiring (saving of time).
• Speed of production of any drawing.
• Corrections / changes / alterations can be made very fast and clean.
• Dimensions are very accurate.
• Viewing of drawing, looks as computer products, is all lines at the same
thickness, the same character of works, numbers; etc.
