Σύνοψη

The aim of this project is to design and construct a computer controlled security system. The safe that is used should be protected with many sensors that do not allow opening the safe without activating the alarm. Then the corresponding software should be developed to control the safe and to be able to sent FAX or electronic mail to specific addresses. This way the security increases to a very high level.
Only by entering a 4 digit decimal code and unlocking a key switch can deactivate the alarm and open the safe. The number of the secret code is configured manually on the PCB.
Any cables removed of cut from the safe should still activate the alarm and the computer that is connected with.
The hardware construction consists of a motherboard with 3 ISA slots. Two cards are connected to the ISA slots, the third is for further improvements of the circuit. The first one is used for the siren sound and the second for the sensors. A model of the safe is constructed for the circuit to be tested.
By reading the features of the security system one can see how the security problems were overcome during the design of the circuit.
Each of the circuits is analyzed on a deferent chapter.
What follows next, are three Block Diagrams. The first is the general diagram to get an idea how the various parts are connected. The second is the system block diagram, which explains the system operation, and third is the motherboard PCB diagram that shows each circuit location.
