The purpose of this project is to study the methods currently used to reduce or eliminate vibrations in structures. I had to make an extensive literature search on vibration reduction or elimination and try to classify and present all the methods found. I tried to collect as many infonnation' s i could and present them with some examples to make the study more understandable.
