The concept of this project is the design, construction and testing of a web page for a pediatric information system, which should include basic medical and general information regarding the grow-up of children.
Various programming languages and other techniques for the design of web pages where investigated as well as existing web pages and bibliography related to medical and other useful information for parents of young children.
Dreamweaver web page design software was chosen to be used because it has certain advantages over other similar programs. Dreamweaver is a web development tool that allows users to quickly and easily create effective and often interactive web sites.
Dreamweaver integrates many aspects of Web development, including page creation, site management, and web server tools, giving the user a good perspective of an entire web site.
The web page includes information about nutrition, safety, appropriate toys, related bibliography, useful addresses and information for perspective mothers.
The web page was designed in a way to give possibility of changes or addition of new information at a later stage.
