Σύνοψη

This project has as an objective to control a stepper motor through a port on a personal computer with the right software. The stepper motor will have an interpreter between the motor itself and the computer a central processing unit with an external power supply. The commands are standard and must be send through a port of the computer to the controller thus instructing the stepper motor to do the , right moves. Controlling the serial port through Delphi wasn't an easy task so I had to [md drivers to install to make the programming easier. Such a component for Delphi 4 is found on the Internet and the one I used is a shareware program - TSerial version 4.23. The need of such software is to be able to control the stepper motor with more accuracy and with a user-friendly program. A proper manual with the instructions is in hand and will assist us in writing the software's commands, which will be sent through the port. It was a very difficult project and a time consuming one. It had to do a lot with programming language and some experience was necessary. Any help for Delphi 4 programming that I had, I got it from its own help files.
