Σύνοψη

The aim o f this pr oject is t o find out all the building
materi als used in Cyprus, calculate t he overal l heat
transfer c oefficient and heating l o a ds and find out
which i s the most economic.
Calculations for heating and cooling loads were carried
by the use of an H.T.I. programme provided.
Prices for installing were determined and total cost for
instal ling was calcula ted .
Prices of f uel oil and electricity were determined.
The s avings in money for fuel wer e determined for
building proper ties which a r e insulated .
Using the above differences in money the years to pay
off were calculated .
Selection was made based on the years to payoff.
The project was divided into 7 chapters and detailed
drawings showing the building properties.
