Σύνοψη

The Urban Road which is designed in this study is the
Makedonitissa Road, from Strovolos to Makedonitissa serving the International fair and Makarios Stadium.
Volume 1
Theory:
Chapter 1 deals with the various features used in the geometric design of the road concrned.
Chapter 2 deals with the general considerations of the highway drainage design.
In Chapter 3 the elements as well as the materials for flexible pavement are described. Road Kote 29 is used for the design of flexible pavement.
In Chapter 4 methods for the estimation of the earthwork quantities are given, as well as the total cost of the project is determined analytically in the Bill of Quantities.
Measurements:
In Volume 1 measurements of horizontal, vertical alignment (longitudinal cross sections and transverse cross sections), earthworks and Bill of Quantities are included.
