Objectives:
1. To present the object to be constructed, giving details as to where is used and why preferred.
2. Design the jig, giving details drawings.
3. Design production planning sheets for each item showing clearly the sequence of operation to the skill worker for manufacturing purposes.
4. Work out all necessary calculations for the time required
to produce each part.
5. Describe the heat-treatreent required.
6. mark a part's list shewing all the material required for
each part.
7. Construct the drilling jig.
8. Estimate the cost of:
(a) materials
(b) design
(c) construction
5. List all the tools to be used.
Terms and Conditions:
1 . The drilling jig must foolproof.
2. All fits and tolerances according to the ISO standards.
3. All drawings should be supplied in the standard HTI A2 drawing file.
