The continuous conpet it i on ataong product s and services which originate from different enterprises and organizations raise the necessity to improve the productivity in the enterprise or the organization in order to keep being competitive. In other words the improvement aims at lower production costs and increased profits. Let us first define productivity,
Productivity is the ratio between output and input. This definition is a general one and can be applied in any enterprise, industry or economy as a whole.
Put in simpler terms, productivity in the sense in which the word is used here is nothing more than the arithmetical ratio between the products (output) and the amount of any resources (input) used in the course of production.
