Σύνοψη

The main objective of this project was to design, construct and test an 8031 microcontroller with its keyboard interface which enables the user to enter data (in hexadecimal form) in the memory, read data from the memory or run a program at any address in the memory. In order to fulfil those requirements, a hexadecimal keyboard with some extra command buttons should be introduced. The relevant soft ware was developed in best assembly language and debugged on a IBM PC, and by means of an EPROM programmer the relevant program was permanently stored with on eprom to the P.C.B. Also the possible future expansion ware bared in mind giving to as 2 general I/O ports making this project to be a stand alone system which can be used not only for training purposed but also as a microcontroller, since it can easily be programmed to do anything and the relevant control circuits can be easily plugged- in on the available edge connectors of the system.
